Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ripple (the "Service"), operated by Youssef Khoweiled ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Ripple.

2. What Ripple Is — and Isn't

Ripple uses AI (Claude, by Anthropic) to generate scenario analyses about hypothetical or anticipated market events, grounded in historical price data where possible. This is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Ripple is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial institution. Output is speculative reasoning about a range of possible outcomes — not a prediction, recommendation, or guarantee — and may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies from AI generation or third-party data sources. Never treat Ripple's output as the sole basis for a financial decision. Always verify independently and consult a licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You must provide a valid email address, confirm it using the link we email you, and keep it up to date.
One account per person.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Ripple offers Free, Premium, and Elite tiers. Each scenario analysis you run consumes one "token"; Free includes one token as a one-time trial, and Premium and Elite include a monthly token allotment that resets on your billing cycle.
Premium and Elite are paid subscriptions billed on a recurring basis through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime from the You tab. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; unused tokens don't carry over or get refunded.
We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
Prices may change; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers before a change takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation.
Attempt to circumvent token limits, rate limits, invite codes, or other access controls.
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service or its output at scale.
Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access another user's account or data.

6. Third-Party Services

Ripple depends on third parties to operate, including Anthropic (for generating analyses), Stripe (for payment processing), and public market-data sources (for prices and news). We aren't responsible for their availability, accuracy, or errors, and your use of the Service is also subject to their applicable terms.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the inputs you submit (event descriptions, context, etc.). We own the Ripple application itself. AI-generated output is made available to you for your personal, non-commercial use; you're responsible for how you use or share it.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY ANALYSIS, PRICE DATA, OR NEWS CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES — INCLUDING FINANCIAL LOSSES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without refund of any unused subscription period.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
